Langley Spring Bowling Benefit
On Sunday, April 26, 100 Langley community members gathered for a lively afternoon of bowling in support of our mission. Together, with a class of sixteen sponsors, our community raised $23,000 in support of a rich, full life for all. Bowlers spent the afternoon on the lanes, catching up with friends old and new, collecting prized balloon animals, getting their faces painted by Dreamcatchers, and sporting the Spare Some Love t-shirt designed by local artist, Barbara Simpelo. The afternoon wrapped up with a small awards celebration. Winners included the reigning champion team from the Fairfax Civitan Club, the highest-scoring bowler, James R., and the most spirited bowler, Langley resident Matt. The Spare Some Love 50/50 Raffle raised over $300, and the lucky winner who took home half the pot was Langley resident Susie! Come back in early 2027 for more details on our next Spare Some Love Bowling Benefit.
